			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you are a sales professional, business owner, or entrepreneur with a product for sale, this blog post is for you.</p>
<p>Every time I sit with an entrepreneur and have a very frank discussion about how to sell their product or service, they are never really clear on the best way to accomplish this.</p>
<p>When you are sitting with a prospective client, your presentation skills must be second to none.  In other words, you must know your product.  I&#8217;m being extreme when I say this, but you need to be able to describe your product in your sleep.</p>
<p>You should also know who you are talking to.  I&#8217;m not talking about their names or the names of their children.  I&#8217;m referring to knowing who your target audience is and what keeps them up at night.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s their biggest fear?  What&#8217;s causing them to lose sleep?  Do you know if your target audience is 30-40 years old?  Is your target audience predominately male or female?  Does your target audience spend money to have their problems solved?</p>
<p>If you answered no to any of these questions, you will find it extremely difficult or impossible to make money offering your products or services.</p>
<p>I personally have spent years perfecting knowing what my target audience looks like and more importantly, what keeps them up at night.</p>
<p>One of the ways I did this was through the use of surveys.  If you have been a student of mine and have ever attended any of my webinars, you know that I always ask you &#8220;What is the single most important question you have about _______?&#8221;</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a simple way to find out what&#8217;s happening in their brain.</p>
<p>When I first started doing using surveys, I used <a href="http://www.surveymonkey.com">SurveyMonkey.com</a>.  You can create surveys for free.</p>
<p>You see, being able to get inside your prospects head, will make selling your services easy.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The most important thing in business is to realize that your new customers play a very important role in the successful growth of your business and more importantly the business&#8217; profit.</p>
<p>Before you spend any money acquiring  new customers, you must first understand a few points, then incorporate them into your marketing plan.</p>
<ul>
<li>It&#8217;s easier and cheaper to market your product or services to an existing customer than it is to market them to a new customer.</li>
<li>It is easier and more cost effective to market your products and services to a referred customer than it is to market to them to a new customer.</li>
<li>It is easier and more cost effective to market your products and services to a previous customer than it is to market them to a new customer.</li>
</ul>
<p>The majority of businesses and business owners fail to understand the three points made above.</p>
<p>As a result, they spend a lot of money trying to &#8220;wow&#8221; new customers through advertising and promotion.</p>
<p>When this method doesn&#8217;t work, they throw more money behind these advertising efforts only to discover not so good results.</p>
<p>Honestly, the statistics show that getting new customers is seven times more costly the existing customers.</p>
<p>So here&#8217;s what I&#8217;m telling you:</p>
<ul>
<li>The easiest customer to sell to is your existing customer.</li>
<li>The next easiest to sell to are referred customers.</li>
<li>The next easiest and most economical customers to sell to are past customers.</li>
<li>The least easiest and least economical customers to sell to, are new customers.</li>
</ul>
<p>Operate our business on the premise and you will see your business and profits grow.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It never fails.  Every time I turn on the news, I hear stories of how bad our economy is.  While it may be true to a certain extent, we all have two choices.  We can either accept it and do absolutely nothing or we can take action.  If you do nothing, you will continue to feel the stress and the hopelessness.  Taking action gives us hope and energy.</p>
<p>There has never been a more perfect time to turn your passion or expertise into a part-time or full-time business.  A business allows you the freedom to control your own economic destiny.</p>
<p>Imagine growing a business that supports the lifestyle you want for yourself and NOT a lifestyle that supports your business.</p>
<p>Want to know what the ultimate job security is?  It&#8217;s when you no longer need your job income anymore!</p>
<p>Here are two ways to start a part-time or full-time business.</p>
<p><strong>1. Coach Part-time</strong></p>
<p>Coaching people a few hours a week is a great way to building a coaching business.  You can coach after work or on the weekends.</p>
<p>While there are no current rules that state you must be a certified coach, it&#8217;s very easy to give people advice based on your experience. Clients will hire you because they want direction.  They are looking for results.  And they want the advice from someone who has experienced what they are experiencing.  Someone who has been there.</p>
<p>You can start a very lucrative coaching business based solely on your professional experience.  There are always people seeking advice on how to make themselves more marketable for hire.  There are people who are looking to transition out of the workforce to start their own businesses.  There are people who are seeking relationship advice or financial advice.</p>
<p>Just make sure you pick a niche and become an expert in that niche.  People love working with experts.</p>
<p><strong>2. Sell Information Products</strong></p>
<p>You can turn your hobbies and expertise into information products and sell them online.  For those of you who have become an expert in your niche, selling information products to your niche or marketplace is the way to go.  It&#8217;s a way for people to get to know you, learn your style and your level of expertise.</p>
<p>These products and services become your sales funnel.</p>
<p>Just remember, before you start creating products, you must conduct market research to see if there is a hungry market for the product.  You will need to know what your market is, what are their most pressing problems, how big is the market, and what&#8217;s the best method for getting your solution in front them.</p>
